More and more the issue becomes one of surviving on less.  For most, figuring out how to pay for life is constant struggle.  Even those who thought they were reasonably secure a few years ago have found their homes foreclosed, their jobs taken away or their retirement funds obliterated by a investment market seemingly beyond understanding.

What do we do?  How do we take back some semblance of control over our lives?  This site is dedicated to that story.  It’s about taking control in a world out of control.  It’s about learning how to save.  It’s about redefining wealth.  It’s about coming alive, even thriving with less.

Let’s face it:  Life is easier when we remember to laugh.  That’s why we do our best to entertain with our own zany brand of wit.  And to keep everyone happy we’ll even throw in a recipe from time to time, just to remember to balance things out.
