Dream The Impossible

Robert Goddard was a physicist and is considered a founding father of modern rocket science. He lived from 1882 to 1945 and never saw a man step on the moon or a robot land on Mars. Would he be astounded by the technology we take for granted today? What, say, would he think of a smart phone, a laptop, 3-D printing, the internet, or nanotechnology? No matter what he might have dreamed for our future, his inspiration and ideas helped make space flight a reality. There is no doubt Mr. Goddard qualifies as a visionary, and perhaps that is what makes his observation on human imagination so powerful.

A quote of Robert Goddard, "It is difficult to say what is impossible, for the dream of yesterday is the hope of today and the reality of tomorrow."
